Yesterday, Bangladesh was struck with a Category 5 cyclone named Sidr that caused major damage and flooding. I was able to speak with Ishita (Izzie) briefly who assured me that everyone seems to be fine (I told her that I’ve been worried sick!). They are, however, without power, internet, cell phones, etc., and Dhaka experienced some significant flooding but nowhere nearly as bad as was originally predicted. Our office seems to also have fared well…

We here in the United States office are wishing the best for our colleagues in BD and hope to see them online with us again soon.
