(Another) Oregon Users Group

There will be an Oregon Users’ Group held via webinar on April 26 at 10AM.

This meeting is being held based on the request of users present at the meeting held in Salem on March 23rd.

The discussion will surround the OARs and uniformly defining the notification levels in Therap for all providers.

Please contact me (you all know how!) if you need the webinar information.

A pug, a lion and some fine OREGONIANS

So, why is Archie sleeping? Well, he went on an ADVENTURE!…On Tuesday night, he went on vacation to The Red Lion hotel in Salem.

The next day, he met his adoring public in the form of the Oregon Users Group. Archie has been invited to just about every agency on the planet so this was a chance to meet all of his public at once…and he got loved and loved. So loved, he is still sleeping.

In Oregon, Therap’s a-rockin’…there were over forty people present for the majority of the day. The morning included an overview of some newer Therap features that some users may have missed: Individual Home, Medical Diagnoses, some aspects of Provider Administration. Then we had a look at the upcoming Time Tracking feature ( a sneak peek!) and finished it off with an hour-long session on ISP Data Collection. Phew.

Thanks to Annie and Natasha for the Starbucks run(s)…Needed it seriously!

In the afternoon, there was a discussion about how their systems would interface with the State of Oregon’s system for licensing staff. The discussion was productive, with a bunch of good questions and ideas about how to move ahead in concert with private providers, the counties and the state. They are a pretty progressive bunch, these guys, and I’m lucky to know them all!

Archie says hello (yawn!) and I’ll see you all soon (especially Cindy for our pug play date…)!

Oregon Users’ Group

Make sure (if you live in Oregon anyway!) to be at The Red Lion in Salem on March 23rd. I’ll be doing an overview of new stuff, as well as answering any application-related questions, starting at 10AM.

At 1PM, we will be hosting a meeting for all providers to discuss Oregon-related issues! And there is plenty to talk about!

RSVP to Anna or me so we know to expect you. And get a move on!!

XOXO

Smarty Pants! (More!)

Watching Bryans webinar

Watching Bryan's webinar

The past couple of weeks have revealed our certified trainers to be quite a group. We have had an initial series of webinars hosted by our resident smarty pants (which have enjoyed good attendance, by the way!)…and boy, have they been good!

Elizabeth Das made it through the Training Management System (TMS) (even though she was nervous!), Migdalia Santiago offered a basic overview of Individual Data Forms (IDFs), Bonnie Scott did a review of incident management using Therap, Pete Ratekin gave us behavior tracking using ISP Programs, and Cheryl did a fabulous overview of ISPs from a fundamental perspective of teaching strategies and skill building…Right now, Bryan Thayer is doing all kinds of stuff with provider administration reports!

There is one more to come (with Letisha!) so SIGN UP before they’re gone!! There will also be a second series during the summer to allow more of our trainers to flex their Therap muscles…Keep an eye on the website. ;)

MN-TUG

As you have noticed from looking at our website, Therap has developed a bunch of Therap User Groups (TUGs) surrounding specific states and concerns.  The newest webinar will be the Minnesota’s meeting on December 17 at 12N CST.  Watch for registration information on our site any minute!
