Working with States

Therap Services is currently being used in more than 40 states and provinces in the United States and Canada. In the states of Delaware and Montana all incident reports are filed through Therap. In addition, agencies have access to all of Individual Supports in Montana and Individual, Billing, and Staff Support in Delaware. Therap is in the process of setting up state-wide incident reporting in North Dakota.

Other types of supports

Therap's applications were designed primarily to work with agencies supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Over the years, Therap has worked with a number of agencies who provided support to other populations. In particular, Therap has been working with agencies supporting people with Acquired/Traumatic Brain Injuries and in Special Education. We have found that in each of these settings the data collection and analysis needs are very similar and Therap can be as effective as it is elsewhere.

Communication

Therap puts high importance on communicating with its users to better understand the needs of the developmental disability community. By establishing relationships between Therap and its customers as well as between Therap customers, we can provide a better application and support and providers around the country can provide better and more effective services.

Therap posts several Blogs with a view to increase communication with its users. Users can learn about the latest events and developments taking place at Therap by reading these Blogs. We also have a Customers' (Therap Users) Blog where users express their views on Therap, technology, disabilities, and more. Therap Ideas

Therap Ideas provide a platform where our customers can share all the exciting enhancement ideas they have regarding any part of the Therap system. In this module, users will find a list of various ideas that have been shared by Therap users. Users can read the comments made to an idea, add comments, and even rate the ideas. So whenever users think they have an idea that everyone could benefit from, they can share it easily with Therap Ideas. These ideas are reviewed by Therap team members on a daily basis and discussed during enhancement sessions.
