Secure, HIPAA Compliant Documentation, Reporting and Communication for Developmental Disability Providers

Image of the Connecticut State Map
Therap is an online suite of software that Developmental Disability Provider agencies can use to do their daily documentation and communication for the services they provide to individuals.
Therap has a long history of service and excellence in Connecticut and is used by providers all across the state (call us for references, or talk to your staff – they may have used Therap at another job).
While Therap offers best-practice documentation based on our work with users in more than forty states, Therap also re-produces forms and processes designed specifically for Connecticut DDS providers.  These include:
  • The 255 and 255OH Incident Report forms.
  • The 255m Medication Error report form
  • The DDS Emergency Fact Sheet
  • Fiscal Intermediary Billing Invoices

Each one of these forms is automatically populated with data from the Therap System and checked for completeness and accuracy.

  • Update on the Apocolypse
Well, buying a generator did the trick, about 14 hours after we got it up and running and got Siraya’s room warmed up the power came on! The generator (which I feel should have a name, though I haven’t come up with a good one yet) is still working hard though as it is now [...] - Read more
  • Surviving the Zombie/Connecticut Apocolypse
It has been an amazing couple of days here in Connecticut… From a Therap perspective, basically everything has carried on as normal apart from the fact our office/IP phones aren’t working.  One of the joys of having such a distributed support network is that it is very difficult for everyone to be knocked out by [...] - Read more
  • Winter in October
As you may have seen on the news, Connecticut was wiped out by a freak October snow storm that has basically broken every record in the books, including the number of homes losing power. This includes me (I’m currently in a coffee shop in New Haven while Calum has a music lesson) and our [...] - Read more
  • Welcome to Connecticut
With the amount of travel I do around the country, it is really exciting to be holding our first Connecticut Therap Regional Conference this week. While this is not the first conference we have held in Connecticut, (the first few National Conferences were held in Southbury) this is already the largest! Yesterday we had a [...] - Read more
