TMSing in Delaware

I had a great meeting today with a bunch of folks with a bunch of agencies in Delaware who are in the process of getting set up with our Training Management System.

As I have said before, it’s always fun when you get people from different agencies together talking about how they interpret state policies and how they use Therap.

Talking of which: Don’t forget the conferences that we have coming up in November and DecemberOne for Direct Support Professionals and the other for Provider Administrators.

There’s much more info at www.TherapServices.net  get yourself signed up or apply to present!

Coming this December… The 2nd Therap DSP Conference

We had such a great time with the 1st Therap DSP COnference that we can’t wait to do it again.

The next conference will be held at the same hotel in Southbury, CT from December 5th to 7th 2007.

There will be a few changes this time round including the fact that I’ll be nice to Kara and we’re looking for Therap users who would like to present.

You’ll find much more in the way of details here.

Remember, spaces will be limited so you’ll want to get in as soon as you can.

Saturday: Ideas abound in Dhaka

What an exciting day today. We were up early (I seem to be doing OK adjusting to the 11 hour time change) and into the office (we moved into a new office in Dhaka a few months ago which is great, I just have to work out who is where!) spent a long day in lots of meetings/discussions, and came back to the hotel. While this may not sound like the most exciting way to spend a day on the other side of the planet, for me, when all those meetings and discussions are about where Therap is going to be in the next months and years it just doesn’t get any better!

We have such an amazing team of people here. I know that many of you have met folks like Sonia, Najmee, Tahseen, and Sazzad who were all at the DSP conference, and been impressed by their skills, knowledge and personalities, well it just gets better and better the more folks you know!  It seems like every time we sit down new ideas and new creative solutions are coming out and the possibilities for where we are going with Therap are just boundless and spectacular.
Today I also saw the beginnings of our next video (based around the DSP Conference) which is going to be amazingly cool! You’ll just have to wait a while though to see it (we usually premiere at the ANCOR conference and I believe that is the plan this year too.

Friday at the Therap DSP Conference

Therap Conference Friday 061

Our conference came to a close today and I for one will be very sad to see everyone head back to their cars and to the airport.

We have all learned so much over the past few days.

Now we can relax, all we have to do this weekend is bring out 7.0! :-)

How Paperless can you go?

Therap DSP Conference 008

Today is application day. We started off with a wonderful presentation by the folks from PrimeCare about how they have become such a heavy user of Therap. What is quite funny s the competition that is going on between a number of agencies to get higher up the Therap Usage League Table!

We are spending the rest of the day split into small groups looking at specific applications which is proving to be tremendous. People seem to be learning a lot and we are getting some great suggestions!

Bangladeshi Night

Pete stole my baby!

A great first full day of the conference drew to a close tonight with Sonia, Sazzad, Najmee, and Tahseen giving a wonderful presentation on livinf and working in Dhaka.

Then we were joined live by Syeed, Ishita, and Sharmin direct from the Bangladesh office.

Then we all settled down for some fine Asian cuisine.

Getting in touch with Therap during the conference

Therap DSP Conference 001

Just a quick note to those of you who need to get in touch with us about anything urgent, the best thing to do is use Live Chat. We are obviously all here, but we are doing our best to keep on with live chat all the time.

Having fun getting to know each other

Therap DSP Conference 080

Unfortunately people seem to be having plane trouble all over the country, from Air Traffic Control issues in North Dakota to snow in Chicago to closed roads in Philadelphia.

Those who are here (including Sheena pictured with Warren above) are settling in and getting to know each other.

It seems like a great bunch of people and I’m looking forward to putting on a great show!
