Have you submitted any Care Plans yet
Having spent a couple of days in Albuquerque, I have been thinking about and talking about Care Plans quite a bit.
What makes the module really exciting for me is the idea of a high quality, moderated library of care plans.
This will only work though with your help, so dig out those care plans and start submitting them to our library.
Note: They will only show up there when we have approved them.
For instructions on submitting care plans, click here.
If you have any questions, let me know.
Don’t forget to come and discuss care plans in our Special Interest Group

Monday in New Mexico
Today, Naim, Pushpita and I spent and busy and productive day working with the folks at New Mexico’s DDSD.
We’re doing some great work on the eCHAT and it’s associated processes. I also thing that Betsy is the only person that gets more excited about care plans than I do!

Wednesday in Albuquerque
I spent a great day working with the folks here in New Mexico on the eCHAT (electronic Comprehensive Health Assessment Tool). They’ve done a great job implementing and it’s amazing how much we have learned over the last year.
I think this is about my sixth time coming to Albuquerque and I have never made it out of the city. Well, today I finally did! However, before that I stopped by at the birthplace of Microsoft:
After that I was off to Petroglyphs National Monument. It was enormously cool. It felt like I was the only person there while at the same time I was somewhere people had been for thousands of years.
As always, the National Parks Service do an increadible job of understated land management.
You should go visit!

More progress in New Mexico
I spent the last couple of days in New Mexico working with them on the latest updates to the eCHAT (Electronic Comprehensive Health Assessment Tool) and the upcoming state-wide implementation of General Event Reports. The next set of updates are going to be very exciting. We’ll have some functionality and data changes based on what we have learned so far and look to be taking advantage of Individual Unification to provide some very cool sharing capabilities.
Based on the work we did, providers in New Mexico should look forward to receiving extra guidance in using the eCHAT, using Health Tracking, and transferring individuals in the next week or so.
It is very exciting seeing the vision that the folks in New Mexico had when they brought us in coming to fruition. We had some serious fun with the data and a few pivot tables!

Therap Regional Conference: Focus on National Nurses/Healthcare, in Albuquerque, New Mexico – Day One
Today we had the first day of our New Mexico conference here in Albuquerque.
It’s been a great day with some intense and indepth discussions about the whole system, but especially the eCHAT.
As usual I have been having fun with Excel! Todays challenge was to produce a report which showed all individuals monthly percentage change in weight. I won!
If you are really interested, let me know and I’ll make a video.
More tomorrow…

Going Live in New Mexico
Friday is a very exciting day for Therap and for the State of New Mexico as it marks the go-live day for the electronic Comprehensive Health Assessment Tool (or eCHAT as we like to call it).
Congratulations to everyone who worked on this. Between the folks at DDSD who put in lot of work designing, testing, updating and discussing the forms, the providers who acted as beta testers, Maureen and Deb who traveled the length and breadth of New Mexico training everyone and of course our amazing development team it’s been a job well done, with more great stuff to come.
There are lots of details about it on the New Mexico page, and providers across the state will be getting an email with full details (we’ll also post it on that page)
Remember that there is still time to get in and beta test the eCHAT for use outside New Mexico (it’s going to be a great new premium feature combined with a Medication Administration Assessment Tool, an Aspiration Risk Assessment, and a Health Passport as well as integrating with MAR and Health Tracking). Drop me a note to get on board.

Update:
You can read the official releases from DDSD in New Mexico here.
Therap :: Meeting deadlines in New York and New Mexico

For folks in New Mexico, we are very excited to announce the production release of the eCHAT (Electronic Comprehensive Health Assessment Tool). This is a very though and dynamic health assessment.
New Mexico providers can check their page for support materials and timing requirements.
We are still looking for a few non-New Mexico beta testers. If you are interested, get in touch.

In New York, OPWDD announced (11 days ago) changes to the ISP format as of October 1st. We have it for you today, just click the link at the bottom of your ISP Plan. You’ll also find a new MSC report format in your Custom Form Library.
This is yet another example of why it makes sense to choose Therap. When there are deadlines involved, we have the resources and skill to make sure that you meet them.
And… did you notice that there were no instructions about how to install the update? Just log in and enjoy!
