As a Senior Training and Implementation Specialist, Kara provides technical guidance for Therap users and helps them with questions and concerns for getting the best out of Therap. She has helped many agencies get started with Therap and build their implementation and training plans, while providing training for everyone from the Executive Director to Direct Support Professionals. Kara has also traveled the US training users on-site, as well as presenting to potential users. Her responsibilities also include the coordination of exhibiting at and sponsorship of conferences throughout the US, as well as assisting in the coordination of Therap’s own conferences. Kara has also played a key role in writing a lot of the new training tools such as scavenger hunts, e-quizzes, and the latest Automated Training tools.

Kara received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Hartford in Connecticut. After graduating, she went on to become an assistant teacher/coordinator at a school for children with the primary diagnosis of Autism. Before joining Therap, Kara gained experience as a Therap user while working as a Residential Director at PrimeCare, Connecticut.
