Final Days of the PA Conference

The packed crowd

The last 2 days of the National PA conference went swimmingly, well, except for the random fire alarm, which kept us out in the cold for a bit.

Masum, enjoying lunch during our fire drill :)

Luckily, many could stay warm in the hotel next door, and we were back in with just enough time for me to go through a quick TMS reports session. Wednesday night, most of our attendees ventured off on our trip to NYC where they could shop, explore, eat, and learn all about the great city of NYC.
The final day was also another pretty full day of sessions, and we even got a visit from Warren Gifford!!
Great to see you all!

Day 1 of our National Provider Admin. Conference

Bonnie of Lifequest, SD, and Therap's Deb from Maine (Note: Anna happily taking pics in the background :)

We’re all in Fishkill, NY this week for our big Provider Administrator Conference. It’s wonderful to see how much it’s grown since the first one we had, when I started with Therap about 4 years ago. We’ve also got some great vendors, and a whole boat load of users presenting. Yesterday, I had some full sessions on everything from Tlogs to ISPs, to my personal favorite :) , TMS. Looking forward to a bunch more today!

*UPDATE* Searching Individual Data Forms

Individual Data Forms
For performance enhancements, the “Search” link in the Individual Data Form section of the FirstPage and Dashboard will now lead to a list of Individual names. The list will display only the names that the user has IDF specific access privileges on. Based on their roles, users will be able to open IDFs of specific states such as ‘In-Prep’, ‘Submitted’, ‘Approved’, etc.

The ‘Individual List’ page will contain an “Extended IDF Search” link, which will lead to the current IDF Search page.

Trying to use live help?

Hi all,

If you’re using Google Chrome as your internet browser, I just wanted to let you know that you won’t be able to access Live help. This may be a chrome issue, but the team is aware of it and looking into this issue. Also, an update w/ Safari for Macs was preventing live help as well, so if you have issues with that, just check your browser to see what you’re using and let us know. For now, you can definitely use live help in Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer.

Thanks

TMS Updates!

To all TMS users:

  • CERTIFICATION REPORT: We have updated the Certification report, so that you have the option of just seeing trainees’ last certified date, instead of the previously  where you’d get pages and pages of the full history of dates for staff.  You’ll see the option as a check box at bottom of page after clicking ‘certification report’

  • SESSION CREATION:  We’ve removed deactivated staff as options for instructors when creating new sessions.  Before, you would still see old inactive staff listed as instructors, but poof! they’re gone :)

Report Library

If you’re a provider administrator and have ever tried to give regular user accounts access to the report library, you were out of luck in the past. Just today though, we’ve added the functionality to the report library privilege in the agency wide superroles, so that now it actually does give people access to all of those reports that were once, only accessible to provider administrators in the full admin account. So if you need others to have access or just want to be able to see it from your regular user account, just make sure that role is checked off in your superrole. It’s an agency wide role so you’ll need to check it off in a superrole that you have that’s agency wide in type.
Get in touch if you have any questions!

Week 3, Day 2 in Devils Lake

Today, Deb and I are in Devils Lake, ND training more Program Managers and Primary Early Intervention Professionals on their new state system, set to go live on November 1st. I learned quite a bit yesterday so have started tag-teaming the training with Deb :)
Yesterday, we drove here, and it must have been my first time in this area, because I found the vastness of the lake intriguing and beautiful, as well as all the construction (well, not so beautiful on the construction bit). At points, I thought for sure we were under lake level on the road. I only wish I could have driven and taken a picture, but I fear I would have ended up easily in the lake.
This evening, we’re off to Grand Forks for more training in the morning.
