Mahalo Hawaii Therap Users

The Hawaii User Group had our first official meeting yesterday!  It was great to talk as a group.  We had a very productive discussion and we will try to schedule this once a quarter as a chance to see new stuff, get questions answered, by me and by other users, and look for opportunities and needs.

I know everyone loves to hear from me :) , but it is so nice to have a chance to hear from each other on practical, on the ground practices and procedures.  So Mahalo again, it is nice to be part of the bigger picture helping increase the quality of life not only for people with developmental disabilities, but also for the the people that assist and support them.   Doesn’t everyone deserve a quality life.  I am happy the role I can play with Therap.

Some Notes/ Highlights from the meeting:
1. Signature Verification Form – linked to ISP in Clinician’s Report, built especially for Hawaii as response to new PAB policy,
2. Individual Home – great feature, not sure on the name might need to let it grow on us, this is a dashboard view that works like pulling up an individual’s file and has information about lots of stuff related to the consumer in one view
3.Diagnosis changes – still links in the same places but works a little different – this is part of the many changes coming in response to CCHIT standards that will make Therap even better than it already is, once again developing and anticipating things years before they will be required.

Happy Therap-ing.  Talk to you all soon.

If you have never traveled with a busload of Therapians you are missing out.  A group of people who are passionate about running a quality organization and know how to have a good time.  After 2 days of immersion in Therap learning new things, and sharing what they now it is time to cut loose.  To all my fellow Therapians who could not make it out please seriously plan to join one of our conferences.  There is no way to learn more faster.  Or call me up and let me know when I can show you all the new features I don’t call you first. :)
