The comprehensive electronic billing solution handles the entire billing process for providers, covering service authorizations, billing/attendance records management, claim submission and status tracking.

The electronic billing software offers flexible options for managing service authorizations and billing records. Flexible options are provided for tracking service authorization expiration dates and remaining balance.
Billable units can be generated directly from attendance records, service or goal tracking data. “Therap’s web-based interface allows direct support professionals to record data at the point of service.” – Anna says. “This reduces the likelihood of errors.”
While generating billing data for day habilitation services/programs from attendance records, Kansas users are able to apply weekly bundling rules. When billing records are created, the system checks to see if the number of units are within approved weekly, monthly and service authorization limits. Therap electronic billing supports the Kansas Day Habilitation per diem unit calculation and the unique Targeted Case Management unit calculation methods utilized by KMAP.
Therap’s electronic billing supports the ANSI X-12 EDI format for professional and institutional claims. KMAP’s EDI team has approved Therap’s ASC X12 version 5010 compliant software for claim production as of November 7, 2011. In addition to producing claims, users are able to track claim status and view remittance reports.
