Electronic Documentation & Communication with Therap

Mosaic’s Strategic Plan clearly identifies obtaining more efficient and effective electronic systems of documenting as a key initiative in easing the workload for staff.

Once Therap has been fully implemented, it will contain the majority of documentation required for service delivery.

  • Recording Falls in GER’s
    All Falls should be recorded under the Injury GER type in Therap, both with and without injury. For Injury Type if there is no injury, select “Other” then type in None. Then choose “Fall” for Injury Cause. This makes it easy to run reports on falls and see how many incurred injuries or not. - Read more

Support Materials and Tools

Therap’s support materials are useful to learn how to use the features and modules included in Therap. Here are a few that are bound to be useful:

Guides/Documentation – Detailed accounts of how to use or setup features. The guides are categorized, e.g. – the category “Individual Support” includes all the documentation of modules that are related to service/support delivery, and so on.

FAQs – FAQs or Frequently Asked Questions are the result of the continued support that Therap provides to the end users. These are quick and short answers (most of the time) to issues we’ve received through the Feedback button inside the application and Live Help.

Automated Training – These are great interactive tools for staff to use on their own to learn about the modules that are most used by direct care staff. There is an animated virtual trainer who will jump around a page and show how the modules are used to carry out documentation. There are controllers to repeat a section or to pause it so staff can go on their Test Mode and try the module out with the virtual trainer. These are great for use by trainers in a classroom environment too, and the pause feature is useful for the trainer to interject and discuss agency policies.
