Software for Developmental Disability Service Providers
Therap is very excited to be working with The State of Nebraska to implement a comprehensive documentation system for the state and private providers. This is obviously a substantial undertaking that will happen over the coming months in a number of stages.
The first of these is to implement Electronic Incident Reporting. In order to do that, agencies that are not yet using Therap need to follow the process outlined below and sign up for a webinar on Provider Administration and one on Incident Reporting.
Referrals for Agencies in Nebraska
We have prepared guides to explain Referrals in Therap. The Referral module is used by Oversight Agencies in order to refer an Individual for services to other linked Provider Agencies. At the end of a successful Referral process, the Individual referred is admitted by the linked Provider Agency.

Important Notice for Agencies
Import individual related information from an Excel sheet into Therap’s Individual Data Form (IDF). The Excel sheet has to be in a specific format. Read the guide linked here to learn how to do this.
If you have any questions or concerns at any stage of this process, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us. We will continue to update the page with more information and training materials as the process moves along.
Therap Services is an online software service that provides secure, HIPAA compliant documentation and communication for developmental disability provider agencies. The suite is made of programs that cover extensively supports provided to individuals as well as programs that help an agency manage employee training and certifications, and also schedules.
Visit our Products page for more information.
Therap also provides extensive support in setting up and handling the transition to electronic documentation, and has lots of great online tools for training staff to use Therap.
Register your agency with Therap Services
This is the first step you will need to take. To register with Therap, all agencies are required to complete a Provider Self Provisioning or PSP, which will require entering some basic agency information like address and phone numbers, and identifying who will be your agency’s Provider Administrators (PA). The total process of PSP is explained in a document available here.
