Therap is working with the State of Nebraska implementing state-wide solutions to offer improved and efficient services to individuals with intellectual disabilities in the Cornhusker State.

Incident Management, Individual Budgets and Annual Plans have already been implemented and in 2015, billing for services with be done through Therap. See below for upcoming trainings.

Referrals for Agencies in Nebraska

We have prepared guides to explain Referrals in Therap. The Referral module is used by Oversight Agencies in order to refer an Individual for services to other linked Provider Agencies. At the end of a successful Referral process, the Individual referred is admitted by the linked Provider Agency.


Import individual related information from an Excel sheet into Therap’s Individual Data Form (IDF). The Excel sheet has to be in a specific format. Read the guide linked here to learn how to do this.

Individual Budgeting

With the Individual Budgeting module, the Service Coordinators in the State of Nebraska can define the total Individual Budget Amount (IBA) and create Budget specifying the applicable Individual Budget Amount within a specific Budget period. Service Coordinators can then create Service Authorizations and send them to Linked Provider agencies. Linked Provider users can acknowledge the Service Authorizations sent by the Service Coordinators. If the Service Authorization is incorrect, they may directly contact the Service Coordinators via SComm. For further details, refer to the following guides:

All About Incident Reporting

The Incident Report (IR) and Medication Error Report (MER) applications have been combined in the General Event Reports (GER) application to ensure wider features, flexibility for tracking multiple, related incidents for an individual. Using the General Event Reporting tool, users can report and follow-up on a wide range of incidents including injuries, behavioral concerns and accidents among others.

To allow the greatest amount of flexibility there are separate Submit, Approve, Review, and View roles for each event type. Users with the appropriate roles can create, approve, review, view, and delete these reports.

Admin Password Reset Request

If you are the Provider Admin./Super Admin. at your agency, please speak to another Provider Admin. who can reset your password for you. If other Provider Admins. are unavailable at the time, if you are the only one, then please send us a signed request on company letterhead via fax to 203-721-6102. This request should include a direct call back number so that we may give you your login information securely. If your agency has been left with no Provider Admins then the Executive Director of your agency would need to send the signed request as mentioned above.
