Behavior Tracking in Therap 6.0

Record Frequently Occurring Behaviors
Include more details of the behavior plan
More graphing options

There are some behavior events that can occur many times during the day. While the existing Therap Behavior Event Record application proved to be an efficient tool for recording behavior events which occur less frequently, it was not so easy to use for more frequent behaviors.

Interval Spoilage Reports

Interval Spoilage Reports

We are happy to announce that in Therap 6.0, soon to be released, we have incorporated the Interval Data feature to the Behavior Tracking application.

The Interval Data option displays the span of a day as a collection of 24 hour slots. Recording target behaviors is as easy is selecting the appropriate time slot of a day and entering the number of times the behavior took place.

The efficient reporting options of the application let you compile recorded data into easy to understand tables and graphs. The tables can be exported to Excel for further analysis. These options can help behavioral specialists in analyzing an individual's behavior as well as working on related interventions.

We have also added the capability to upload a full Behavior Plan as a word document so that it is available to staff. The standard Behavior Event Record has also been enhanced so that by clicking on the name of a target behavior or intervention will show a detailed description for that individual.

IR Follow up in Therap 5.2.4

The 5.2.4 version of Therap Services has been recently released online. One of the major enhancements made in this release is the IR Follow up Review feature of the Incident Report application.

IR Follow up

IR Follow up

Users with the proper authorization are now able to add follow up review comments to approved incident reports. After being approved, incident reports are kept on the users’ follow up list for 15 days within which period they can review these reports and comment on them.

This option is going to be extended to the new GER application, to be released with Therap 6.0.

The other enhancements in this release include addition of new events to the Activity Tracking module. All operations on Medication Error Reports including submission, approval and views and all operations on Individual Data Forms including submission, approval, updates and views are now going to be listed on the Activity Tracking list.

T-Logs in 6.0
T-Log

T-Log

T-Logs, a smaller but powerful Therap application has always been one of the most popular. If you liked it before, you will love it in 6.0!

It is now possible to add follow up reports to T-Logs. This has been implemented without hampering the simplicity of the application. To enter a follow up T-Log, all one has to do is click on a ‘Follow up’ link.

If you feel the need to attach a file (such as Word or Excel) to your T-Log report, just go on ahead and do so. The application lets you attach photos up to 500 KB.

Reading T-Logs has never been simpler! In the morning you can just lean back on your chair and start with the first T-Log on your list. You don’t have to go back to the list to get the next T-Log; just keep on clicking on the ‘Mark as read and move to next’ button at the bottom of T-Logs. You will be done with them in no time!

That’s not all! If you want to find out who else knows about the information in a particular T-Log, you can easily do that by clicking on the Read Status link on FirstPage.

If you liked T-Logs before you will love them now. You do not have to wait very long. Just wait till 2006.0.

Q & A

Q: What is a “Custom Group”in SComm 6.0?

A: A “Custom User Group” is a list of users that you define for yourself. In the 6.0 version of the Therap system, it is possible to create Custom User Groups to send SComm messages to. A message send to a Custom User Group will be received by all users includes in that group. It is very easy to create and manage custom user groups while using the Therap Secure Communications application.

Often times you come across situations when you need to inform your colleagues of events that have happened or important information that you have come across. Sometimes this happens quite frequently and you need to send similar information and reports to the same set of people all the time.

With the Custom User Group option, you don’t need to select these people from the program and/or user list each time you have to send out an SComm message. All you have to do is send the message to the Custom User Group.

The application is an intuitive one. If some of the people in a Custom User Group should not be allowed to see the contents of a particular message, it eliminates those users from the recipient list automatically.
