What's new in Therap 5.0
A first look at Therap's next release
Therap Services is planning a major upgrade to its suite of online applications for providers of supports to people with developmental disabilities.
This new release (5.0) includes several new applications. It also contains upgraded and enhanced versions of the existing Therap applications. The new applications include:

Pop up window to add new medical diagnoses
Individual Data Forms: Track all the basic information about the people you support including ICD9 and DSM IV codes, medical and other contact information. This form will automatically generate an Emergency Data Form containing only the essential information required in an emergency situation.
Health Tracking: You can track and follow up on medical and therapeutic appointments using this Therap application. This also gives you options to record and report on health information such as vital signs, weight, menses, intake and output, wound care, breathing treatments and seizures.
Individual Services Plans: This exciting new module allows you to define and track goals, guidelines, and services. Using this application, you can easily define teaching steps and scoring methods. Data is collected simply as the goal is implemented and then reports can be produced comparing progress to baseline and previous periods.
Cross Organization Information Sharing (COIS): If you and other organizations are supporting the same people you can use COIS to share information in a secured and well defined manner. The application lets you define what information you would like to share and helps you avoid "dropping the ball" during the process. It also allows you to retain the control over your information that you are used to having with Therap.
VIRA: You can use Therap’s new Voice Incident Report Application (VIRA) to file incident reports from anywhere using a telephone provided you have the required privilege and role assigned to you. All you have to do is call a VIRA operator at your agency and they will enter the incident report for you. When time is of the essence, VIRA is the solution.
Look out for new on-line training sessions on these applications or be amongst the first to try them out at ANCOR's conference in Pheonix, AZ in March.

Application Focus:
Behavior Reporting
A quick and easy solution to behavior tracking and analysis.
Using Therap's dynamic behavioral matrix you can transform a behavior support plan into a simple data entry screen for your staff. They can then enter the related interventions to target behaviors as defined by the behaviorist.
The system also allows your staff to record new behaviors and interventions as they occur. It then allows behaviorists to include, alter, or delete these behaviors and interventions from the database.
As always, the Therap system allows this data to be easily extracted and imported into Microsoft Excel for graphing.
A Therap Data Administrator (each provider usually has at least two) can create a "User Self Enroll " account. This will allow new users to log on, choose a username and password and enter relevant information. The Data Administrator can then choose to activate the account and assign privileges. For more information on this, sign up for a Data Administration training class or contact support@therapservices.net.
