Therap 8.0 Released!
Therap has released Version 8.0, the most significant update to the system to date. This new release includes industry-leading technologies and innovative features designed to greatly improve the performance and flexibility of the system. Some of the new additions to this system include Fingerprint Login, Document Scanning, Medication Administration Records, Personal Finance, and ISP Global Template Library.
The new Fingerprint Login in Therap 8.0 lets you login to Therap applications using fingerprint instead of password. For this, the users can add Fingerprint Enrollment to their own account. The Provider Administrator (PA) is also able to assign fingerprints to user accounts using Fingerprint Enrollment option available at the PA account. The users also have an option to change their password using fingerprints, without using the current password. Additionally, multiple fingerprints for enrollment into a single account can be added.
Therap Webinars

Therap provides Webinars or more commonly, web conferencing to hold group meetings or live presentations over the Internet. Webinars may include slide presentations as well as demonstrations of Therap's various applications, accompanied by voice communication through the conventional PSTN lines. With the Therap 8.0 release we are doing a series of webinars to help our users be more familiar with Therap modules. You can sign up for these webinars at:
http://www.therapservices.net/knowledgebase/training_webinars_CSKB.php.

Apart from Jonathan’s Law, the new version of GER also brings Context Sensitive Help, a new way to quickly help users to learn about specific parts of a form. Users are able to find question mark signs beside every section of a GER. Clicking on any of these will reveal content designed to provide help for that specific section.

With the addition of Document Scanning, Therap extends the flexibility of attaching external files to the system. In the past users required multiple steps to add a scanned document to the application. In our new version, when the ‘Scan’ button is used, the system uses the attached scanner and automatically adds the newly scanned file to the form. The whole process of scanning and attaching the file does not require users to go through any additional steps except for clicking on the ‘Scan’ button.
The new version also provides an interface between the ISP Program and Billing Data. This enables you to generate a single Billing Data from multiple ISP Data entered in during a given day. If users want to track the services given at different times of the day, they can do so by using ISP Data. Then when billing data is generated, it will combine the times for all the ISP Data to create billing data. To learn more about generating bills from ISP Data, you may refer to the Quick Guide available in the Support Knowledgebase.
The IPOP module now has an acknowledgment feature similar to ISP Programs. Clicking on the ‘Acknowledgement’ link available in the IPOP section on the FirstPage will enlist IPOP forms awaiting acknowledgement, and they can then be acknowledged by the user as necessary.
For a complete list of enhancements available in this major release, please have look at the release notes available at: http://www.therapservices.net/release_8.0.html.

  • Where did my ISP Programs go?
In general, an ISP Program is created for a particular Individual and Program (Site). When entering ISP Data, you need to select a Program (Site) and then an individual. However, in the previous version when you selected a specific program and individual, all ISPs (created in different programs) for that individual were shown in the list. The initial selection of the Program (Site) was not used to filter the ISP list. This also included ISPs that were created for a program in which the individual was no longer enrolled. This was an issue as ISP Data should not be entered for a program in which the individual is no longer enrolled.

This issue has been fixed in our new version. Now when you select a program to enter ISP Data you will only see a list of ISPs that have been created for that individual in the chosen program. You now need to enter the ISPs for those individuals in the new program in which they are enrolled.
