Therap Services Welcomes Anna Keith to the US Customer Support Team

March 10, 2008, Waterbury, Connecticut

Therap Services announces the appointment of Anna Keith as Assistant Director of Implementation. Therap Services is a web-based service bureau offering an integrated suite of applications for the developmental disability community. Therap has a customer support team consisting of former executive directors, house managers, clinicians and direct support professionals.

“We are happy to have Anna in our team. Anna has knowledge of the system from the disability services administrator perspective, offering her expertise on Therap tools and how Therap can effectively improve communication and service delivery,” said Justin Brockie, Director of Customer Support and Training.

Anna comes to Therap with 17 years of service delivery experience. Prior to joining Therap, Anna was President/CEO of New Beginning Enterprises for 12 years where she oversaw day-to-day activities and was involved with legislative initiatives, grant writing, strategic planning and creating business opportunities for people with disabilities. She played an active role in various state task forces to the Kansas Government, the Kansas Disability Rights Center and is appointed to the State Board of Behavioral Sciences.

Anna is a graduate of the National Leadership Institute on Developmental Disabilities, at University of Delaware and received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas.

Therap Services to Host Regional Conference in South Dakota

Waterbury, Connecticut, March 03, 2008

Therap Services, a service bureau providing an integrated suite of online applications to organizations working with people with developmental disabilities, will host a regional conference from May 13 – 15, 2008 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The regional conference is designed for residential directors, day program directors, state caseworkers, nurses, supervisors, house managers, clinicians and direct support professionals. Non-users of Therap are also welcomed to attend the conference.

Attendees will get the opportunity to meet with Therap members, other Therap users and Industry experts from around the country and learn and enhance their skills on Therap applications. The regional conference will be sponsored by ANCOR and South Dakota Association of Community Based Services.

“The regional conference in South Dakota provides an ideal platform for users and agencies in South Dakota to learn about Therap applications and interact with Therap users from South Dakota, North Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota and around the country”, said Justin Brockie, Director of Customer Support and Training.

The conference will feature training on Therap applications, brainstorming sessions on new ideas to improve Therap applications, interactive workshops, presentation sessions, networking with other Therap users and Industry experts from around the country and sharing ideas to create new and improved Therap training and supporting materials.

The conference will host a number of sessions to be presented by Therap members and Industry experts. Topics covering Therap applications will include Caseloads and Super Roles, Individual Data Form, T-Logs, Individual Service Plans, General Event Report, Secure Communications, Behavior Tracking, Health Tracking, Billing and Staff Scheduling. There will be a session for users from North Dakota as well.

Other topic sessions include HIPAA Plans and Policies, Electronic Signature, Cellphones and Remote Access, Biometrics, Therap and Accreditation: CQL and Carf, Future Training Materials and Games and Document Storage.
