Health Care Reports
One of the major strengths of Therap’s health information tracking system is its powerful reporting features. A good example of this is Therap Health Care Reports which aggregate and summarize health information from different sections of the Health Tracking application (e.g. vital signs, height/weight, respiratory problems, medication history, lab test reports etc.), as well as other modules such as General Event Reports and Individual Data. Here are some of the useful features supported by the report –
Flexible parameters
The report supports flexible options to select date range and select report sections. Report sections may include some or all of the health tracking records.

Clean summarized view
All information is arranged neatly in simple, tables.

Printable PDF format
The reports can be viewed and saved in printer friendly PDF format.
Saving for later use
Once drawn up, users are able to save them within the system to use later.
Comments & recommendations
Relevant comments and recommendations can be saved with the health care reports.

Therap Special Interest Groups Just Got Better!
We are happy to inform you that we have redesigned our Special Interest Group (SIG) pages to have a fresh look and feel that you will find more functional and easy to use.
We have transferred all existing users and posts to this new site so you don’t need to worry about reopening accounts or reorganizing the content.
Here are some of the things you need to know about the new SIGs –
Separate page for each SIG
In the new design, each SIG (Nursing & EHR, Mobile Documentation and Quality Assurance) is hosted on a separate page. You can access them at:
Nursing & EHR SIG
http://www.therapservices.net/health-sig/
Quality Assurance SIG
http://www.therapservices.net/quality-sig/
Mobile Documentation SIG
http://www.therapservices.net/mobile-sig/
You can still access them all from the old SIG page at
http://www.therapservices.net/sig/
Loggin in and Posting
Even though the SIGs have been separated, you don’t have to log in separately for each of them. Logging in once will give you access to all the SIGs you have joined.
You can use the following links to get to your login screen:
Nursing & EHR SIG
http://www.therapservices.net/health-sig/wp-admin
Quality Assurance SIG
http://www.therapservices.net/quality-sig/wp-admin
Mobile Documentation SIG
http://www.therapservices.net/mobile-sig/wp-admin
You can also use the old SIG login link -
http://www.therapservices.net/sig/wp-admin
To get to a particular SIG from here, just find the My Sites tab on the top bar which will show you the list of SIG sites you have access to. Move your mouse over the SIG you want to post in and then click on ‘New Post’ on the sub menu.
You can get further instructions on how to post in Therap SIG here –
http://www.therapservices.net/sig/posting-in-a-therap-sig/
Category selection
You no longer need to select a SIG as a category to indicate where your posts should go to. Once you login and post in a SIG, the posts are set for those SIGs automatically.
You however, can choose to publish your post in other SIGs and/or the Certified Trainers’ Blog (provided you are a member of those) by selecting them in the Multipost box.
Facebook Share Button on Posts
In the new version of the SIGs, there will be Facebook share buttons on your posts.

Question of the week
We will be posting a new question every week to initiate discussions and get your views on different issues. They will be placed prominently on top of each SIG page so you will not be missing them.

So log on to our Special Interest Groups now and try these new features for yourself. Let us know if you have comments or suggestions on how we can enhance them further.
Towards CCHIT: New modules expected in January
As you probably know, Therap is working towards CCHIT compliance by mid January, 2012.
Existing and enhanced features such as Allergy Profiles and normal range definitions with vital signs are the results of that goal. Moving ahead, we will be adding a number of completely new modules to meet CCHIT requirements. These will include:
- Medication Profile – to display an Individual’s current medications, Home medications, Review of medications and Reconciliations under a single page.
- Medication Reconciliation – the ability to capture a signature or the User ID and the date stamp, as per the CCHIT requirements, to indicate that medication reconciliation has been completed at admission, discharge and each change in level of care during the facility stay.
- Home Medication – to record and to display home medications.
- Individual History – to document and manage Individual’s historical data including chief complaints, present illness, medical, social and family history, assessment plans, physical examinations and other information.
- Individual Care Plan – to create care plans for each Individual. Furthermore, users will be able to upload Care Plans to the Global Template Library and import Approved Care Plans created by users of other agencies.
- Physician Information – to be able to add NPI Number, UPIN Number, DEA Number and License Number for Physician users.
These features are expected to be released in mid January, along with other modules and enhanced features in Therap’s version 2012.0.

Adding multiple medications to Medications History
The Medication History module of Therap Health Tracking maintains relevant information regarding an individual’s current and previous medications such as dosage, form, count, and frequency.
The module offers the flexible option for users to add multiple medications to a person’s Medication History by importing them from an Excel spreadsheet.
The procedure is simple – just select the Import from Excel link under the Medication History from the Health Tracking module. This will open the Medication History Excel Import page. Here you will find a link to a sample Excel file that you can use to upload your medications.

Now, download the Excel file and enter your medications on it. (Do not change the header cells on the spreadsheet.) Once you are done, just go ahead and attach it on the ‘File’ field.
All you need to do then, if to fill out the form and hit ‘import’.
