Care Plans in Therap 2012.0

Among the applications we have recently released in beta (due for production release in mid January) is the Individual Care Plan module. This is one of the applications we have developed to meet our CCHIT goals – we plan on being fully CCHIT compliant by mid 2012.

As the name suggests the module is designed to more efficiently document and manage individualized care plans by tracking problems, goals, and approaches to meet those goals. Notable application features include –

  • The ability to add review comments and team meeting notes
  • Ability to discontinue care plans once goals are achieved
  • Ability to create and publish Care Plan Templates for approval and save the templates in a Global Template Library
  • Notifications for Care Plan Template authors when care plan templates are published

For further details please see our user guides on Individual Care Plans. Please note that these are currently in progress and are subject to change.

You can also try the beta application which is currently available online. While you are doing that, please send us your feedback so that we can further improve these for you.

Attaching Scanned Documents

Many Therap modules support additional file attachments. For example users are able to attach file documents with progress/shift notes (T-Logs), Individual Service Plans, secure messages (SComm) and Personal Finance transaction receipts. In all these cases, the attachment feature supports an additional scanning option. If you hit the scan button on the Therap form, it finds the scanner, uses it to scan the document in the device and saves it in Therap as an attachment.

In regular situations, a user would have to use the scanner’s program to scan and save the file and then upload it with online forms. With Therap’s scanned document attachment option, all of this is reduced to a couple of clicks (just Scan and Done).
