Health Care Reports

One of the major strengths of Therap’s health information tracking system is its powerful reporting features. A good example of this is Therap Health Care Reports which aggregate and summarize health information from different sections of the Health Tracking application (e.g. vital signs, height/weight, respiratory problems, medication history, lab test reports etc.), as well as other modules such as General Event Reports and Individual Data. Here are some of the useful features supported by the report –

Notifications and Alerts

The Therap system come with a flexible mechanism to generate automatic alerts on various reporting events (submission, approval and review of different Therap forms), critical incidents, administrative functions (service authorizations and training certification expiry), caseload updates and other events and actions occurring within the system.

Each user may not need to receive alerts from all of the Therap modules being used at an agency. Also, users may choose to be alerted only when an issue is of particular importance. Accordingly, the system provides users with the ability to configure their notification profiles, indicating the events, actions, and severity levels for which they wish to receive notifications.

These alerts are issued via different media such as cell phones, numeric/text pager, email and Therap’s encrypted messaging system – Scomm). The appropriate media for particular events and action alerts are configured in user’s notification profiles.

While notification profiles can be different for each user, setting each of them up individually can prove to be quite a task. For this reason, Therap gives users the ability to configure default notification profiles for nurses, house managers, DSPs, executives and directors.

The Therap for States Application has an Alert system that generates automatic alerts as well as staff generated alerts. With staff issues alerts, authorized users are able to create, edit and delete manual alerts for meetings, annual release, etc.

Care Plans in Therap 2012.0

Among the applications we have recently released in beta (due for production release in mid January) is the Individual Care Plan module. This is one of the applications we have developed to meet our CCHIT goals – we plan on being fully CCHIT compliant by mid 2012.

As the name suggests the module is designed to more efficiently document and manage individualized care plans by tracking problems, goals, and approaches to meet those goals. Notable application features include –

  • The ability to add review comments and team meeting notes
  • Ability to discontinue care plans once goals are achieved
  • Ability to create and publish Care Plan Templates for approval and save the templates in a Global Template Library
  • Notifications for Care Plan Template authors when care plan templates are published
