Thanks to all who attended the Iowa Therap Conference in West Des Moines, September 30th through October 1st. All indications are that attendees enjoyed the session content and learned some new Therap tricks. Once the coffee service was squared away and the internet service adjusted, the conference ended up being a great success.
I have been receiving comments from attendees that the combination of small and large providers was quite a benefit. The exchange of ideas was well received by all. This is one of the main reasons Therap hosts these events…networking and shared learning within the Therap User Community. The best practices come from those who use the platform each and every day….YOU!
Speaking for myself, as I have only been with Therap a short while, it was a pleasure to meet our new and tenured customers. It’s always great to put a face with a name.
Feedback for next year is always actively sought! Please let me know what you would like to see more of next year. I have received comments that indicate that experienced users would like to see more detailed sessions on module functionality…sessions that dig deeper. I have also fielded suggestions that we be really specific as to what sessions are geared for beginner, intermediate and expert users. This is the kind of information we seek to keep these events fresh and informative.
I also wanted to say thank you to our friends from Direct Course / College of Direct Support for presenting on Day 2 of the Conference. It is always good to have them with us. Additionally, IACP members had the opportunity learn more about this great program that is included in their membership.
Don’t forget…. The Iowa User Group Webinar is being held on October 26th at 2:00pm local time. The meeting will last approximately 1 hour. Register to attend!
As always…Best to you!
