Wisconsin User Group Meeting

About the Presenters:

Michelle Saunders is a Business Development Consultant at Therap. She has worked in the non-profit sector with agencies supporting persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and Mental Health diagnosis since 1995. Michelle was instrumental in implementing Therap at her agency and also completed grant applications and led statewide training efforts for the Missouri College of Direct Support.

Catherine Hauser is a Training & Implementation Specialist who joined Therap Services in 2017. Her experience in the developmental disabilities field began in 2005 in Illinois when she became a Direct Support Person. Previously she was serving as a chairperson to the Human Rights Committee, Psychotropic Review Committee and Behavior Management Committee and provided training as a DSP Course Coordinator.

Know the presenters:

Michelle Saunders who is a Business Development Consultant joined Therap Services in 2012. Michelle has worked in the non-profit sector with agencies supporting persons with I/DD and MH diagnoses since 1995, starting as a direct care staff and then as a case manager in Central Pennsylvania. Michelle relocated to Missouri in 2005 and worked as a consultant for an organization in Columbia, Missouri.

Heather Thornton is a Billing Specialist here at Therap. She has worked in the ID/DD field for over 4 years in various capacities. With her previous agency, Heather helped to implement Therap from T-logs to Billing. Heather is from Oklahoma and she moved to Colorado approximately 5 years ago.

Illinois User Group Webinar

Therap users in the state of Illinois are welcome to join our user group webinar which will take place on August 14, 2018 at 1:00 PM CDT. We look forward to discussing with you items from the latest Therap updates including two factor authentication, scheduling module and EVV documentation. Learn how Therap will work for providers supporting individuals receiving services through the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Developmental Disabilities.

Therap is appropriate for CILA homes, DT and Employment programs, providing solutions for Incident Tracking, eMAR, Goal Tracking, ISP, EHR and more. Therap is compliant with Rule 116 and has custom forms for the SAMA and ICAP. The ISSA has been programmed into the ISP module.

Therap’s Billing applications include the ability to collect the necessary information required for submitting billing to the ROCS system. The ROCS Billing option allows providers to download ROCS’ Fee- for- Service Claim Files, generated on Therap, and import these FFS Claims directly via FTP Upload to the Illinois Department of Human Services Community Reporting System (DHSCRS). Additional features help to track claims for which ROCS Reports have already been created. This helps to avoid generating ROCS Report for the same claims. Therap’s Nursing User Group in Missouri

Therap users in the state of Missouri are invited to join our user group for nurses and other healthcare professionals on April 3rd 2018 at 10:00 AM CDT.The user group will be held at Nova Center of the Ozarks, Springfield, MO.

A wide array of tools are available in the Therap system to assist nurses with their daily documentation needs. At the Developmental Disabilities Nursing Association conference, attendees can see how Therap’s software records daily nursing notes and documents administered medications. Nurses can view active diagnoses of individuals and contact information of healthcare professionals. The MAR module is integrated with industry standard drug database First Databank (FDB). A MAR mobile application is also available for quick entry of records in community settings and other LTSS locations.

Illinois provider agencies currently use Therap to meet various documentations needs, including demographics, person-centered individual support plans, care plans and more. Join our Pennsylvania User Group Webinar

Therap users in the state of Pennsylvania are welcome to join our user group webinar which will take place on March 26, 2018 at 1 PM EST. We look forward to discussing with you items from the latest Therap update, scheduling module, state specific modules and Therap’s response to the recently released joint report by Office of Inspector General (OIG), Administration for Community Living (ACL) and Office for Civil Rights (OCR).

Providers using Therap in Pennsylvania are able to submit their billing directly to Pennsylvania’s Promise system. Services covered by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services Intellectual Disabilities Services division can be tracked within the system’s billing applications. Claims can be automatically exported in the ANSI X12 837 format. These billing and audit features are integrated with service documentation data including goal tracking, providing service verification and maximizing utilization of service hours. Billing data can be generated using case notes, attendance data, manual entry, or service outcome/goal tracking documentation with a number of reports and through all steps of the claiming process such as Billable, Submitted, Paid, Rejected, or Denied. Therap also provides codes that link service line items to an external accounting system and general ledger.
