Therap Exhibited at the NADSP Annual Conference: The Fourth One

Thank you for stopping by our booth at The National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals’ (NADSP) annual conference which held in St. Louis Union Station Hotel on September 7 & 8, 2018 Conference! Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions relating to our modules.

Attendees heard about the latest developments from subject matter experts and learned from peers.

Users in the area who joined the conference learned about the latest Therap updates including Electronic Visit Verification for upcoming Federal regulations and new Business Intelligence dashboards for tracking health and billing data. Therap helps you to document data and track them for the Direct Support Professionals working with people with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

Call us to discuss how Therap can help the Department for Disability Determination Services meet requirements and improve the efficiency of services they provide for the individuals who have filed for disability benefits with the Social Security Administration (SSA).

The Care Campaign

I recently came across something pretty neat: The Care Campaign, a coalition of service providers, direct support workers and their unions, associations and individuals formed in January 2013 to raise wages of direct care workers in Illinois

Their goal is to win a living wage for the dedicated people who support those with developmental disabilities. This is important quality of life work performed by women and men who work hard caring for some of the most vulnerable of our fellow citizens.

Here is a newspaper article published today regarding progress with this wonderful and new initiative: http://www.dailyherald.com/article/20140204/news/702049780/

You can also check out their website at: http://carecampaignhq.com/

I am excited to see the continued updates with this group!
