This week I am in Austin, TX meeting at the APDDA Conference. It is a conference that DD administrators from all over the country have come in to participate in discussions with CMS, and other state directors. The week will look at emerging trends and issues in DD systems across the country. It is great to connect with present customers as well as meet some new folks that are discovering Therap.
So this week I brought another Missouri provider into the Therap community through a webinar. I was a little hesitant at the start of the meeting as the person joining the Go To Meeting webinar said, “I hope it is allright as I am joining in on my phone instead of the computer?” My hesitancy was that at the conclusion of the call it would be necessary for the person to enter in some data and initiate the process and activate the process by clicking on a button off the Therap website. Regardless, we began and we went through the process and the entire process was completed in a matter of minutes. No problems whatsoever! It was pretty cool. It was amazing for me to think back to the first agency in Missouri that started using Therap and how different things were then in comparison to this brand new agency signing up. It has been so exciting to be apart of so many agencies moving to greater efficiency, transparency, higher accountability, and less paper chasing through the last several years. It got me wondering and thinking just how many agencies in MO are still out there lost in a paper world? So have you had some time to look at the new Employment History Module that has been added in Therap. The module provides the opportunity for agencies to create employment and volunteering history for individuals. Using this module the Administrator can create, update or delete employers, contact persons and job templates. Users can create, update or delete employment referral, assessment, employment milestone, career development plan, training and coaching, application and interview and job details using this module.
As this module continues and more agencies utilize this module we can expect to see future enhancements and functionality. Employment and the ability to track specific data points is becoming increasingly important for agencies to track and Therap is working hard to look at solutions to provide agencies to do just kind of tracking.

- Internal corporate governance and risk management processes
- Regulatory oversight”

The snow continues to fall across the region today as schools, business, churches, and countless other activities are brought to a halt. Here in KC it looks like it will be a couple of days before things get back to normal as many will scramble to clear roads, drives, and sidewalks.
