2016…Come a long way!

So this week I brought another Missouri provider into the Therap community through a webinar.  I was a little hesitant at the start of the meeting as the person joining the Go To Meeting webinar said, “I hope it is allright as I am joining in on my phone instead of the computer?”  My hesitancy was that at the conclusion of the call it would be necessary for the person to enter in some data and initiate the process and activate the process by clicking on a button off the Therap website.  Regardless, we began and we went through the process and the entire process was completed in a matter of minutes.  No problems whatsoever!  It was pretty cool.  It was amazing for me to think back to the first agency in Missouri that started using Therap and how different things were then in comparison to this brand new agency signing up.  It has been so exciting to be apart of so many agencies moving to greater efficiency, transparency, higher accountability, and less paper chasing through the last several years.  It got me wondering and thinking just how many agencies in MO are still out there lost in a paper world?  If you haven’t taken the time to see how Therap can make a difference for your agency give me a call so we can show you this solution.

KC Conference Hotel Info

I wanted to make sure and inform everyone who may be looking to register and make arrangements for the upcoming KC conference that the hotel name has changed.  The hotel is the same one and at the same place, but the name of it has changed.  The Holiday Inn CoCo Key is now named the Adam’s Mark CoCo Key.  If you would like to make arrangements to stay at the hotel you can contact them at 816-737-4776.  The hotel address is 9103 E. 39th St, KCMO 64133.

If you call the number to make arrangements be sure and ask for the Therap block of rooms that have been established at a discounted rate.  We look forward to seeing all of you at the conference next month!

Employment History is a New Module Worth Taking a Look

So have you had some time to look at the new Employment History Module that has been added in Therap.  The module provides the opportunity for agencies to create employment and volunteering history for individuals. Using this module the Administrator can create, update or delete employers, contact persons and job templates. Users can create, update or delete employment referral, assessment, employment milestone, career development plan, training and coaching, application and interview and job details using this module.

As this module continues and more agencies utilize this module we can expect to see future enhancements and functionality.  Employment and the ability to track specific data points is becoming increasingly important for agencies to track and Therap is working hard to look at solutions to provide agencies to do just kind of tracking.

Take some time to click on the link to find out more about employment history…http://support.therapservices.net/display/documentation/Employment+History

Winter Storm and Therap

The snow continues to fall across the region today as schools, business, churches, and countless other activities are brought to a halt.  Here in KC it looks like it will be a couple of days before things get back to normal as many will scramble to clear roads, drives, and sidewalks.  It is in these times that I am reminded once again of the value of Therap as people are able to stay up to date and current with what is taking place across an agency by simply logging into the system.  I hope you all stay safe today and take advantage of logging in and catching up on whatever needs to be addressed.

Snowfall in KC brings thing to a halt.
