Meeting with the Ministry of Social Empowerment and Welfare

In Sri Lanka we got the opportunity to meet with different government officials of Sri lanka. The officials ranged from different level of the administration. The government officials were intrigued by the software. We had met such an official in Colombo. His name was Mr. Rumesh Tushara, who was working for the Department of Social Services under Ministry of Social Services. We had a brief exchange of ideas between us in his office in Battaramulla, Colombo. We hope to continue our dialogue with him.

On our trip to Sri Lanka, we visited the members of Sisters of Charity in Colombo, at one of their institutions. We had visited them on our previous visit to Sri Lanka also. We were pleased to visit the institute again. There is interest about Therap among the members of the Sisters of Charity.  We had a session with the members, explaining the initial details about the software. They were intrigued by the fact that services can be documented in Therap with such fine details. They were also pleased by the customization facilities provided by Therap. It is the start of a new journey. Hopefully institutes of the Sisters of Charity will be able to document the services provided by them, through using Therap.
