Falkirk 2 – Hearts 2

Hearts 100% record in the league came to an end today against Falkirk where Hearts (and Scotland) goalkeeper Craig Gordon gave away a penalty and got him self sent off and Hearts (and Scotland) central defender Steven Pressley scored an own goal! Having said that they came back with Elvis scoring two goals in the dying minutes to save a point and stay unbeaten.

Also, it looks like today was Mike Piazza’s last game as a Met. Amazing to think it’s been seven years already. Calum can’t remember the Mets without Piazza and we have been through many Piazza shirts and posters (and even a hamster called Piazza!) over the years. My own personal highlights will always be two of his home runs against Atlanta at Shea. The one that capped an 8 run comeback in the 8th inning and the one that won the first game back in September 2001. If I remember rightly, they both went to about the same place in left field.

Thanks Mike!
