After a (closer than it should have been) 2-1 victory over Livingston today Hearts moved back to the top of the Scottish Premier League. We’ll have to see what happens between Celtic and Aberdeen tomorrow to see if it stays that way.

Hearts are a strange team just now – regardless of all the shenanigans going on off the field. It’s a bit like an American Football team where all the long receptions and touchdowns are scored by tight ends rather than wide receivers. It’s nice to get the points, but you wonder where the guys are that are supposed to be doing that.

Again today, the goals came from Rudi Skacel who plays in midfield rather that from one of the forwards – strange, but I’ll take it!

It was also rather nice that Hibs lost and Rangers drew!
