Post to do with Therap’s COTS SaaS system

Coming soon :: Therap 2016.2 :: Changes to ISP Data Grid

ISP Data Grid

At the end of this month, we will be releasing the latest update to Therap.  There are a number of enhancements coming which I will list in upcoming posts.

One significant change will come with the removal of the ISP Data Grid data entry screen.  It is important to understand that this does not remove or change any data or any functionality related to ISP Data, it is simply removing an older method of data entry.

We are doing this for a number of reasons:

  • The functionality of looking at a month’s data at once can now be achieved directly from Individual Home and a number or report variants.
  • The data entry screen and […]

Using Therap with old versions of Internet Explorer

Here at Therap we are continually working to bring you new and better features along with a reliable and secure application.  That application is delivered to you via your browser.  In order to give you the best experience, we need to be able to access features that may not have been included in older browsers.

This is particularly the case with Internet Explorer.  Microsoft no longer supports versions of Internet Explorer prior to IE11.  This means that older browsers do not get functionality and security updates.  We will therefore be focusing our development on IE11 and above.

You can read Microsoft’s view here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/WindowsForBusiness/End-of-IE-support

We know some of you need to use older browsers for other systems or have other reasons for trying […]

Have you looked at the Pharmacy Interface?

With out last release, our pharmacy interface is (finally!) up and running.

This means that is your pharmacy uses either QS1 Primecare or Speedscript as their pharmacy software then you can now link to them so that each time your pharmacist dispenses a medication it shows up in your Therap account.

You can learn more about Therap’s pharmacy interface here.

If you would like to explore setting it up, please fill out the form here.

Therap 2016.1 :: A quick guide to the changes

2016_1 Pharmacy Interface

As I will keep reminding you, this is a very significant release this weekend.

I would strongly encourage you to check it out at our beta site: https://beta.therapservices.net.

If you haven’t used beta before, it works like this:  We take a copy of the database and put it on another server in our secure data centre.  We then load the new software (Therap 2016.1) and run the migration on the database to make it match the new software.  This means that you can go and look at the next version of Therap running on a copy of your data.  When you log in (with your usual credentials) you will see a […]

Therap 2016.1 :: Are you ready for the changes in Medication History and MAR?

Pharmacy Interface

This coming weekend we will (finally!) be releasing our Pharmacy Interface (much more about that in later posts).

The big deal with with this release is that we have made a number of changes in Medication History which you need to go and take a look at before the release.

These changes make our Medication History compliant with HL7 standards and add in functionality that we have been looking to add for quite some time like component medications, more flexible scheduling, and definitive end times.

In some ways, the biggest task for us is the migration of all our existing Med History and MAR data over to the new structure […]

Staff Ratio Tracking :: New in Therap 2016.0

This is one of those modules that you are either going to think is the greatest thing since T-Logs or you are going to wonder what the point is.  Which camp you fall into will most likely depend completely on which state you work in.  Folks in places like Maine, Ohio, and Indiana should really like this.

The basic goal is to allow you to easily record in real time what the ratios of staff to individuals are in a given program on any day.

This is an agency wide module, so it is not filtered by caseload (hence it showing on the agency tab).

Staff Ratio - Dashboard

You start off by making a […]

Locking and Deactivating Users in Therap 2016.0

We are making a slight change to the way that you temporarily keep users out of the system in our upcoming release.  Don’t forget that you can try out Therap 2016.0 at https://beta.TherapServices.net

There are two user statuses that do not allow them to log in, Locked and Inactive. (actually Pending doesn’t either but that doesn’t really count in this conversation!

Locked has been what happened when you entered an incorrect password too many times or did not change your password within the required time.  This will still be the case, but we are now offering the opportunity to set a user’s status to Locked.  This is what you would do if you wanted to temporarily stop them logging in, perhaps […]

Have you tried the new Individual Home on your phone?

The new individual home which you can find by logging into our Beta release of Therap 2016.0 at https://beta.TherapServices.net is the first module showing our new User Interface (UI) which we will be gradually rolling out across the whole application.

Therap 2016.0 Mobile Login

The UI is designed to be “responsive”.  This means that it will configure itself to whatever size screen you are working on, even your phone!

If you remember what Individual Home looks like on your regular screen, it is something like this:

Individual Home - Home Top

On your phone though it looks like this:
