Have you driven our Forum lately?

One of the things that folks really liked at the Provider Admin conference was the chance to meet, discuss, and brainstorm with other Therap users.

Everyone said they wanted to keep the conversations going, and the place to do that is in our forum.

There are already a bunch of interesting things going on in there, so head on over, create and account, and join the conversation.

Reminder to PA Conference attendees: You promised 2 posts a week!

Provider Admin Conference :: Friday :: Families and such

We had an absolutely tremendous session about using Therap with families.

Folks who are already giving out rights to their family members were able to share their experiences and policies.

We’ve even set up an area in the Forum to continue the discussion.

I was particularly impressed by what Sarah and the folks at PCL in Oregon have done and their stories about how much better and easier communication is now that county staff and families can all access data on Therap.

Provider Admin Conference :: Friday :: And now, the end is near…

One of the things we are doing today is getting opinions about some new designs for our website.

As we head into the last day of the conference it’s going to be sad to see everyone head back to their real lives, but great to know that they are going back engergized about what we do.

Today we have discussion about plans for future conferences and I have a session on activity tracking and security.

Lots more photos to come…

Provider Admin Conference :: Thursday :: South Asian Evening

Tonight we celebrated our connections with Bangladesh and our work in South Asia.

I was very lucky to bring the rest of my family in to join us…

Siraya of course was the biggest hit.  Here she is with Thelma.

Before dinner, we had some delightful Bangladeshi appetizers – just ask Kara!

After that is was time for the presentation.

Sazzad, Sarwat, and Mehrin told us all about the office in Dhaka and the work we do there.

Sazzad is hilarious and a born entertainer!

Provider Admin Conference :: Thursday :: Having fun (and learning stuff for myself!) with Excel

Teaching my session about Management Summaries and Excel

My session this afternoon working with Management Summaries and what you can do with the data once you get it into Excel was so popular I did it twice!

And… I finally learned what i was doing wrong trying to get rows to repeat across pages as I print them.

Provider Admin Conference :: Thursday :: Lunch Time

Mehrin, Warren, and Jenece put the worlds to rights.

I am starting to run out of superlatives to describe the experiences and people that we have here!

Had a wonderful session this morning discussing the relationships between providers and governments and how Therap can impact it.

We started the session by talking about our experiences in Delaware. Vanessa and Sequoia were able to talk about the efficiencies and effectiveness that they have experienced.

We also talked a lot about Individual Service Planning, Coordination, and reporting.  Particularly across providers.

Provider Admin Conference :: Thursday :: Here we go again!

Tom, Dan, and Holly discuss last night’s fun and look forward to the day ahead.

Day three of our conference is kicking off and if it’s possible, everyone is more excited than ever!

We’re making a few adjustments to the schedule to be sure that everyone gets to cover all the topics that are most important to them and meet up with the people that they want to talk to.

For me the day starts working with Behavior Tracking and then moves into Management Summaries and Using Excel (Pivot Tables here we come!).

One of the things I am really enjoying watching and listening to is the conversations between agencies – we […]

PA Conference :: Wednesday Evening with Fountainhead Production

Jack introduces us to the wonders of video technology and the delicate intricacies of ice hockey.

Our evening’s entertainment was provided by Jack and Lisa Edwards and the fine folks at Fountainhead Production.

We learned an awful lot about green screens, post production, and video effects as well as an awful lot about a few of the conference attendees!

Renee shows us all her surfing skills!

Honing my interviewing skills

Kara hangs out with Teletubies as we do our version of “Who’s Line is it Anyway?”
