This Saturday, Hearts won 4-0 again, though this was not as significant as it was against Dunfermiline in the league.  They do a strange thing in the Scottish Premier League where after the first 33 games, the league splits for the last 5.  The top six teams play each other to decide who wins and qualifies for next year’s European competitions while the bottom six teams play each other to see who will be relagated.
It’s not really a play off as the exisitng points carry over.  The biggest thing up for grabs just now is a place in next year’s UEFA Champions League.  The team that comes second will get this.  At the moment that team is HEarts, with Rangers 3 points behind.  It may well come down to the last game of the season when Hearts play Rangers at Ibrox.
