The Therap Classroom was on the road again today. This time it didn’t have to go very far as I went to do training for the staff at Easter Seals of Waterbury, Connecticut (name used with permission).
There were a couple of particularly cool things about today’s class. Firstly schools were closed so I dragged Calum along with me which made it a lot easier to set up the 20 computers we had with us. (special thanks to Easter Seals for the delicious lunch they laid on, if you are able to satisfy Calum’s appetite then you are doing really well).
Secondly, after doing my standard training on T-Logs, GERs, and SComms, I launched into teaching these folks (job coaches and other DSPs) to doing billing data entry and Attendance Data Entry. They did a tremendous job, getting it first time, yet again proving what an excellent and computer savvy workforce we hav out there, you just have to give them the opportunities and the tools!
Now it’s off to Buffalo (though unfortunately not on the Erie Canal!)
