Calum’s first full week at Wolcott High School is coming to an end. If he ever tells me anything about what goes on in his classes I might be able to pass it on – don’t you love how communicative teenage boys are!
This also means that it is time for High School soccer and Calum is one of the goalkeepers for the Junior Varsity team. It’s very strange having to sit on the parent’s side of the field now and just watch. Some day I may get used to it, but just in case, I have hooked up with Rich who I coached Calum’s travel team with for the past few years to help him coach his younger son’s team.
Tonight was the final scrimmage before next week’s first game. Given that the JV team didn’t win any games last year, they can only do better!
