As I stated in my last post, our outage earlier this week was due to our Internet Service Provider XO Communications, a leading national provider for this type of service to companies like us.

They provide us will multiple internet feeds which are supposed to provide us with failover access to the internet so that things like this don’t happen.

My understanding is that the previous outage was not due to any service interruption, but rather human error.  Effectively, someone turned off the wrong switch.

Then, as we were on the phone with their senior managers today to voice our displeasure and concerns, it looks like exactly the same thing happened again.

Thankfully this time we were up and running again very quickly.  We will also find out exactly why we are being prevented from providing the service that you and we expect.

Please accept my apologies, and be sure that we are making our feelings heard very, very clearly.
