Both teams despite being in different sports and on different continents are equally good at raising false expectations and not quite winning.
The other nice thing about them is that they are both very web enabled. I can listen to all of Hearts games online and (If I wanted to pay much more) I could do the same with the Mets. For today, I can watch the Mets play the newly renamed and relocated Washington Nationals as Spring Training starts in Florida. (Just saw my first Matsui to Reyes to Mientkiewicz double play!) Then in a couple of hours I can listen to Hearts play Rangers in the Scottish Premier League.
The ground here in Connecticut may be covered in snow, but this is proof that spring is on its way north.
