This evening at church we were getting our paperwork ready and copied and notarized for our pilgrimage to Cumbrae Cathedral this summer.
Once that was out of the way it was time to practice a little dancing for this Saturday’s Burn’s Supper.
Now I have been many things in my (long, long, long) life, but I have to admit that this was the first time that I have ever been a dance instructor!
Full credit to our pilgrims (a fine group of 8 teenagers) and their parents and chaperones, everyone got involved and we ended up having a great time and doing quite a reasonable approximation of a Gay Gordons, a Dashing White Sergeant , and most hilariously a Strip the Willow.
It’s going to be fun to see how we get on in public!
