The Joys of Testing

So, Business Intelligence will be coming soon, just not quite as soon as we hoped!

As usual, we have been putting our next release through some rigorous testing.  As a result of this, we have found an issue that we are not completely comfortable with and so we are delaying the BI portion to a later date.

It won’t be long, and it will be well worth the wait.

Coming Soon :: Therap Business Intelligence

I’m very excited to announce that with our upcoming release (Therap 2016.1.6 – details here) will include our first production release of Therap Business Intelligence.

Therap BI dashboard

This is a very powerful tool, based on Oracle Business Intelligence that allows the mining of massive amounts of data and the presentation of intuitive graphical dashboards.

As always, with our iterative approach to development, this release will contain some initial dashboards (demographics and General Event Reports to start with), but we have plans for many more things to come.  Of course, those of you getting on board now will be able to take advantage of some very advantageous early adopter pricing.

Have you signed up for Therap’s National Conference?

We have a whole host of new things lined up for you at our National Conference which is only six weeks away now.

A couple of things that I am excited about are:

Our Mobile App

We are using an app called Whova to give you access to the conference on your mobile device.  You’ll have access to the latest schedule, be able to mark which sessions you want to go to, interact with Therap staff and other attendees as well as discuss any of the sessions.

Once you have signed up for the conference, got got here to be set up in the app: https://www.therapservices.net/therap-national-conference-2017/request-add-national-conference-event-whova/

Workshops

We are also adding a number of workshops in addition to the regular sessions. […]

Welcoming Idaho to the Therap Community

Seal of the State of Idaho

To continue our exciting week, The State of Idaho, Department of Health and Welfare, Division of Family and Community Services has selected Therap as their Developmental Disability Case Management system.

I am particularly excited about this project as Idaho is a state that is fairly new to us in one of my favourite parts of the US.

Kitti, Sazzad, and I will be heading out to Boise in a few weeks to get things rolling.

I bet you’re wondering what tomorrow’s news will be now!

Therap receives SOC2 Service Organization Controls Report for Service Organizations

SOC 2 logo

Many times when we give an initial presentation to an agency, someone (usually from the legal or business office) asks if we have a “SAS70”.  In reality the SAS70 does not exist any more.  In its place is the SOC2 process.  This means that we have been evaluated by an external body who have looked at our policies and processes. You can read much more ab oout it on the AICPA website or our press release below:

WATERBURY, Conn., March 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ – Therap Services, the leader in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities electronic health record and data management, has announced receipt of the SOC 2 Report on Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, […]

Therap MAR Stats July 2013

As you can see, people use our MAR a lot!  Almost 6,000,000 entries a month!  Through all of this use we have identified a number of issues and challenges.  Along with that, we are also continuing our work of building our first pharmacy interface.

To make all of this work even better, we are looking at a new MAR interface that will be easier, faster, and even more usable.  Below you will see an early mock up.  We’ve already come up with some great enhancemants based on conversations weve have at conferences and user groups.

Video on Therap 2013.2 Preview :: ISP Agenda

Welcome to the ISP Agenda!  I think this is going to develop into a hugely important element in out ISP Suite.  It does two new things, Firstly allows for the management of ISP Meetings and secondly for the summary (and hence reporting on across individuals) or progress towards outcomes.

Take a look, there will be much more on this as we go along

Summer 2013 Preview :: Mobile ISP Data

We are in the closing stages of development for our upcoming Summer 2013 release – don’t get too excited yet we have an awful lot of testing and fixing before this ever sees the light of day!

Over the coming weeks I’ll bring you the highlights – and there are some pretty awesome things to share.
