Side by Side IV comes to an end, 8.6 on its way

Today saw the end of a very successful Side by Side Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana.

As is traditional, we played my favourite conference game: Jeopardy, as usual, it was riotously fun.

You can get the latest version of what is now called Stu’s Quiz boxes here.

Now that that is over we can look forward to our next little piece of excitement, Therap 8.6 which will release this weekend!

Therap 8.5 Will Release Soon - Online Documentation and Communication Software for Developmental Disability Providers

You’ll be seeing a few cool features, especially for those who search, get logged out, and work in billing and ISP plans

More details to follow

Side by Side IV – Day Two

Day two in Indianapolis has seen a whole bunch of great discussions on a wide range of topics from billing to time keeping to electronic signatures to implementation.  You name it and we’ve discussed it!

I am particularly grateful to the folks who are here from Occazio, (just wish AZ was here too!).  As a long time user of Therap and having just implemented MARs they have been a great resource for all the new and potential users here.

One of the things that I think this shows is the benefit of talking to someone who has been there.  Yet another great reason to come to one of our […]

Side by Side IV – Day 1

Therap ConferencesCollege of Direct Support

Things are off to a flying start here in Indianapolis.

We have something like 90 folks from as far afield as Alaska, Canada, Tennessee, Nebraska, and even Indiana.

I’m having a great time meeting old friends and making new ones, it never ceases to amaze me how cool Therap users are, add to that all the College of Direct Support, Rest Assured, and Web Footed Friends and you just can’t go wrong.

Much more (and some photos when I remember to grab my camera).

Off to Kansas and Indiana

It’s the start of rather a long week as I leave New England in a horrible mix of rain and snow (the only good thing about which means that my soccer game this afternoon was postponed, so I won’t miss it).

First stop is Topeka, Kansas (unless you count changing planes at BWI) where Jim, Sazzad, Jeff and I will be working with the folks at the Kansas Neurological Institute. Then it’s off to Indianapolis for Side by Side IV.

See you there!

Are you coming to Indianapolis?

Graphic of Therap Conferences
It may not be Scarborough Fair, but we’ll have much more fun than just playing with herbs.

Side by Side IV is shaping up to be a tremendous conference, and one that I am really excited about, especially as I have missed the last couple.

Once again we are working with The College of Direct Support, Rest Assured, and Web Footed Friends to bring you the latest and greatest sessions in technology designed specifically for the […]

Quite a week

What a wild and wonderful week this was!

On Wednesday I presented to Surveyors and Quality Monitors from the State of Connecticut Department of Developmental Services.  This was a great group of people, many of whom had been out doing inspections at homes that use Therap and they wanted to learn more about what data was available to them and how they could get at it.  We went through a lot of the system and obviously understood the benefits that providers are getting from using Therap.  It is important to remember though that it is the providers responsibility to be able to know where the data is an present it.

On Thursday I made a very similar […]

Wednesday in Edinburgh (Indiana)

After a day of phone calls, webinars, more rain, and meetings in Louisville Kentucky, I headed up to Indiana.

Edinburgh Indiana

Interestingly I arranged to have dinner in Edinburgh which I had seen on highway signs before driving from Indianapolis to Louisville, but never had the chance to stop.

Looks like a great little town, just needs a castle in the middle and really should be home to the famous Heart of Midlothian!
