Billing Reports, Caseloads, and Agency Wide Reports

Any time you run a report, it is always worth knowing exactly what data you are running your report on.

In most places in Therap, when you run a report it is limited to data that is within your caseload.  In these days of Individual Based Caseloads, it is important to remember the basic fact about Therap access, namely “If an individual is on your caseload then you will see their data.”  This really is the case for all caseload based access.

Remember especially that Auto Program Caseloads (the ::APC:: ones) are still individual based, they are just a list of the individuals currently enrolled in that program.  This means that is you want to give yourself access to data about people who […]

Moving to Individual Based Caseloads :: Caseload Migration

Individual Based Caseloads

Therap 2015.0 introduces new Individual Based Caseloads.  We have transitioned from the old (current) caseload structure according to the rules below.

To help you compare the old caseload structure to the new, we have created two  versions of Therap, using the same database. One version has been migrated to Individual Based Caseloads, the other retains the current structure of Program Based Caseloads.

You can visit each of these to compare what the process has done:

https://demo.therapservices.net (program based caseloads and the current software)

https://beta.therapservices.net (individual based caseloads and Therap 2015.0)

Use your regular login to access either of these.  Remember they are just a copy of the database (about a month old), any changes you […]

Tuesday in Olympia, WA

I can never come here without singing Rancid songs as I drive up from Portland or down from Seattle.

I always find it exciting to be at Regional Conferences, especially now that I get the chance to talk to more people about Individual Based Caseloads.

Talking of which… We are still working on the update to Beta, I’ll be sure to let you know when it is reay to play with.

Individual Based Caseloads :: Choose your program!

As you hopefully know by now, we are in the progress of transitioning to Individual Based Caseloads.  If you haven’t watched the Webinar and answered the survey at: https://www.therapservices.net/individual-based-caseloads/ you should go there right now and do so.

On of the concerns that people have had about this switch (in fact, it is a concern about the ToDo List right now) is that there are just too many counts from places you might not be concerned about today.

To fix this, in our next major release we are going to be adding a very cool new feature “Choose Program”

Choose Program - Dashboard

By clicking this link after you log in, you will […]

Have you answered the Individual Based Caseload questionnaire yet?

As we prepare for the very significant transition over to individual based caseloads, we want to be sure that we know whether or not you are current using program based caseloads to provider your agency with a place to keep notes (as T-Logs or ISP data) that can only be accessed by a select group of staff.

For example, you might have a program called Nursing and enroll all your individuals in there.  You would then write T-Logs, or ISP Programs within that program so that other users cannot read them.  This obviously would only work as log as you do not assign any users individual based caseloads, as they would automatically have access.

Reading through the paragraph above, and trying to […]

Using Therap Beta

When we are getting a new  release ready, we like to get it out there for testing and training by our staff and customers.  In order to do this, we have a Beta site.

Therap Beta is available at https://beta.therapservices.net

Therap Beta runs in our secure environment, but on a different set of servers from our production environment.  We take a copy of most of our database (we tend to leave out things like archives and attachments) and put it the Beta environment for you to work with.  This means that the data you see there will be data that you are used to, but you can test things out without having an impact on your real data.

You […]
