Come and join the conversation about self directed services

Image of Unified Diagram

We have started a new blog, being hosted by Kevin, to discuss how self directed services are impacting providers, people with disabilities, and how you use Therap.

With our work on our new individual budgeting module (and a groovy diagram to boot), we’re all over it and want to hear from you.

Head on over and join in the conversation

The future of Service Authorizations

Screenshot of Service Authorizations

I am just returned from a very successful and exciting conference in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Probably the most exciting feature we discussed over two days with the 250 attendees was our latest updates to Individual Budgeting.

Thanks to a lot of hard work and patience from some great Service Coordinators and providers in Western Nebraska, this module is really taking shape.

What you can see from the screenshots is a budget (or cost plan if you want to call it that) which allows the Service Coordinator to build a plan with the individual, budget it out across the year and then send the authorizations the appropriate providers who can […]

Where is my Oregon ISP and my Individual Budget?

Graphic announcing the release of Therap version 2012.2

As you read our Release Notes, you have probably noticed the new modules we have for the Oregon ISP and Individual Budgeting.

These new modules are both ones that you need to have turned on specifically by Therap.  In Oregon and in Nebraska we are doing this in conjunction with the state to be sure that everyone involves the processes involved.  We should have much more in the way of details on that soon.

If you are outside those two state and are intersted, please let me know.

Working Hard in Nebraska

Jeff, Sazzad, and I have spend the last couple of days in Lincoln, Nebraska working on the next phases of our state-wide implementation.

I am getting to like Lincoln more and more each time I come here.  it always seems like such a peaceful city (though I am told it is different on game days).  It’s nice flying here, getting a shuttle to the hotel and then being able to walk to all our meetings as well as being right next to the Haymarket restaurant district.

We are making some gret progress here with Individual Budgeting, annual planning, incident reporting, and more.  There are going to be some really exciting things coming out of Nebraska in the near future, watch this space!

For […]

New Therap Individual Budgeting application for Nebraska released today

Original Picture is Unavailable

I am very excited to announce the release of a new Individual Budgeting application, the second step in our statewide implementation of Therap in Nebraska.  While this application has initially been built just for the folks in Nebraska it is very much part of our growing suite of applications for States and Counties.

If you would like to learn more about the application, check out it’s User Guide or the Nebraska Page.

If you would like to learn how this and other applications could work for you and your county or state, just give me a call.
