Bringing the Circle of Support together in North Dakota

Original Picture is Unavailable

Sazzad and I are here in North Dakota, working with the folks in the State office on the next phase of our implementation.

Thanks to individual unification, this is where it gets really interesting and very exciting (once in a while it ties your brain in knots too!)

We have now developed the Overall Service Plan for North Dakota.  This is an annual plan document that can be collaboratively written by state and provider staff, passing back an forward between their accounts in a seemless, HIPAA compliant dance.

We’ll be adding to this an amazing referall process that I think is going to have the same impact on states and counties that T-Logs have […]

 Release Notes for Therap 9.1

Folks who work in Therap from state accounts or for mutli-state providers will probably have come across the terms “Parent Provider” and “Child Provider”.

We use Prent Provider to describe the state account or the National Office account which can access data in a series of “Child Providers”.

We have never been big fans of these terms, and in fact at times they have caused some confusion.

With 9.1 we will be renaming them to Oversight Agency and Linked Provider, so:

Oversight Agency = Parent Provider

Linked Provider = Child Proivder

Hope this helps!

Getting ready for Therap 9.1

Splash image of Therap 9.1 coming soon

Just a reminder that when we release Therap 9.1 on July 17th, Individual Data Forms will no longer exist in the dual form mode that they do just now.

This means that is you have made changes to an IDF and those changes have not been approved yet, they will be discarded.

Forms whose status is In-Prep or Approved are fine and will migrate just as they are

If you have any questions, please get in touch.

You can read the full release notes here.

Therap 9.1 Update (Individual Unification Release)

Screenshot of Allergy Profile

Today we have posted the draft Release Notes for Therap 9.1.

There is a lot of information in there, please be sure to read through them.

I will also be scheduling some webinars in order to give you a guided tour later this week.

Our current release schedule is as follows:

On July 10th we will release a beta version of Therap 9.1.  This will be a copy of the current database that will allow you to test out the new functionality on data that you recognise.  It is important to recognise though that any changes made in this beta context are not transferred to the live database.

On July 17th we […]

Individual Unification and IDFs

As I said in my previous post, as part of our Individual Unification involves a simplification of the IDF workflow.

We will be referring to this new form as Individual Detail.

With the IDF, when changes are being made, there are actually two copies of the form maintained (this actually seems to cause people a lot of confusion).

With the new form there will be only one.

Because of this, when we do the update (scheduled for July 11th) any changes that have not been approved will be set aside.

This means that you want to make sure that all of your IDFs […]

Towards Individual Unification in Therap

We are currently undergoing one of the biggest changes that Therap has seen in many years, perhaps since the introduction of FirstPage back with Therap 5.0.

One of the most interesting things about this particular change is how little visible change there will be to start with.  Don’t, however, underestimate the amount of work that is going on underneath the hood/bonnet.  Virtually every query (and we have lots of very big queries in our millions of lines of code) within the system is being updated.

What might cause such an enormous change you ask?  Well, if you have been to one of our conferences recently, you will have heard us talk about what we are calling “Individual Unification”.  During a recent discussion […]
