Does Therap work on my phone and my browser?

The answer to this questioon is most likely “Probably, most of the time.” if you are using a current browser or an Android / iOS / WebOS phone.

The problems start to happen when you get someone like me who has tons of browsers on their computer (sometimes just to try them out and sometimes becuase I want to have multiple Therap accounts open at once while I am testing or setting somethign up).

Examples of browsers I might use include:

And those are only the ones I use on […]

Therap iPhone App on its way

In the next couple of days we will be submitting our brand new Therap T-Log App to the Apple App Store!

As opposed to the Mobile T-Log Reader which you may have used before, the is a “real” native iPhone (or iPad or iPod Touch) App.

In addition to being able to read and write T-Logs, you can also include photos, audio, and your GPS Location!  We’ll be showing this off in Fishkill and you should be able to try it out for yourself in a few weeks.

Using SComm in Therap from Mobile Devices

Screenshot of SComm from mobile devices

In an update to Therap, you can now use SComm in Therap from mobile devices (we removed the rich text feature when accessing from such devices).

This should help you regardless of whether you are an Android, iOS, or Blackberry user.

In less good news, a recent update to Google’s Chrome browser (my browser of choice and the one I am writing in just now) seems to have caused an issue with launching Live Help.  We are looking into it to try and work out what is going on.

Tuesday in DC with an iPad

Today I was in Washington with Ken for some meetings. While just sitting around with my iPad I get the sense that it is very cute and all, but I don’t quite see the practical implications.

Today, however, I did. Firstly, it’s very like Therap, it’s just cool. So a bunch of people said “poo is that an iPad” and wanted to play with it. It never hurts to catch people’s attention.

The second use was les obvious. We were in a meeting where there really wasn’t room to set up a projector. I was able to put the iPad down on the table and everyone could watch my demo.

Finally, I am writing this on the […]

The Apple iMAR

Along with all the other cool things that happened this weekend, Apple released it’s first Therap device.  They call it the tPad, but I like to think of it as the iMAR.

Apple brings out a mobile Therap device

The big announcement today was Apple’s iPad.

What’s the iPad you ask?

Basically it’s a great big iPod Touch.  In other words it could be a really handy thing to stick on a med-room wall to complete you MARs or carry with you to do your Therap documentation really easily.  It costs about $500, which is interesting because I have seen touchscreen devices for Nursing Homes which retail for about $1500 each!
