Multi-Provider SComm in Therap 9.1

One of the very cool things about Individual Unification in Therap 9.1 is that we now have unified SComm inbox for mutil-providers users (States and Multi-State Providers).

In order to be able to use this feature, both the sender and the recipient need to have Multi-Provider SComm enabled in their privileges.

This setting is defaulted to being enabled for Oversight Agencies, however, for Linked Providers, you will need to go in and enable this for any user that you want to be able to communicate with users at the Oversight Agency.

Using SComm in Therap from Mobile Devices

Screenshot of SComm from mobile devices

In an update to Therap, you can now use SComm in Therap from mobile devices (we removed the rich text feature when accessing from such devices).

This should help you regardless of whether you are an Android, iOS, or Blackberry user.

In less good news, a recent update to Google’s Chrome browser (my browser of choice and the one I am writing in just now) seems to have caused an issue with launching Live Help.  We are looking into it to try and work out what is going on.

Over the last couple of days I have been trying out a beta version of our upcoming 8.2 release (if you would like to see it, let me know).  There will be many cool things in this release, many of which aren’t in the beta, but the major thing so far is the new version of SComm which I really love!

Pictured above is the new User Profile which gives some new, exciting options for Scomm (click on the image to get to a bigger version).

Full SComm: This option gives full access privileges to a user with all features.

Are you ready for 8.1? (just wait until you see what we have in 8.1.x!)

Tonight’s the night!

If you haven’t already, read the Release Notes.

As if that was not enough, we actually have more stuff that didn’t quite make it into 8.1 that you will be seeing over the coming weeks.  One of the biggest of those is a make-over for SComm.  Check this out, Shawon and his team have done some incredible work:
