Life is never easy being a Hearts supporter. Even being a point of the top of the table, the best position we’ve been in years, we still can’t be happy.

For that matter, the team can’t make life any easier for us. Take yesterday’s game in Motherwell. Not one shot on target until a 90th minute penalty ties the game at 1-1. just when we were ready to condemn the new manager and players for an awful game they salvage an away point while Celtic are dropping three at home against bottom placed Dunfermline. Does that mean we should be happy now?

Then today, third place (and cross-town rivals) Hibernian are playing fourth place (and perennial league winners) Rangers – who do we want to win? It’s all too confusing (Hibs won 2-0)!

All in all we’ll just settle for another week of moaning until Saturday comes!
