2009 has been a great year for us here at Therap, so as we look forward to 2010, we are looking to add staff to help us continue to provide exceptional support and to expand our user base around the country.
Broadly speaking we are looking for two positions:
Based out of our Waterbury, Connecticut office, support specialists work with prospective, new, and existing Therap customers to set up their accounts and train their staff. This position involves a lot of travel to provide on-site training around the country (about 80% of your first two years could be spent travelling).
Skills required include providing live, web based, and telephone based training on Therap and related computer issues. To do this you will probably have been a Therap user (most of our support staff are former program managers) and have an interest in computers, the internet, social media, developmental disabilities, teaching, and travel.
You will work with states, counties, and providers from all around the country providing all sorts of services, so you need to be able to learn and adapt to new settings and organizational cultures. As you will spend so much time on the road, you need to be self
