Picture in front of Huntingburg public library

Today Anna headed off to the UCP Conference in DC and Kara joined me to train some of the folks from ResCare’s Community Alternatives South East in Huntingburg, Indiana.

What was cool about these sessions was that we did them at the local library. We did have a couple of network/firewall issues, but a pleasantly geeky librarian was on hand to help!

It strikes me as being a wonderful resource for lots of providers out there who want to run sessions but maybe don’t have the room. Libraries tend to have bookable “community rooms” and also tend to have internet access. Kara will be doing another library session later this week.

As for me, I’m off back to Connecticut to hoot and holler as Calum “graduates” from Middle School.
