The first half of this week just couldn’t have been any worse for the Mets, losing four horrible games to the “we’re the class of the National League East” Phillies.  With each loss feeling worse than the last, all the way down to a horrible Thursday lost during my drive back from New Jersey.

Thankfully they came back this weekend at, of all places, Turner Field against the dreaded Atlanta Braves.  The fact that it all ended with Tom Glavine finally beating his buddy John Smoltz only made it better with the Phillies providing a cherry on top by losing 2 out of 3 to the Marlins.

I love September!

Now, let’s hope that Hearts can follow suit tomorrow against Motherwell.
