Richard is one of the founders of Therap Services. The unique combination of experiences Richard brings to the company is critical to its success in serving the developmental disabilities community. In addition to founding and managing several successful technology-based companies, he has a direct operational understanding of developmental disabilities providers.
Richard obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Brandeis University and completed his Master of Business Administration degree at Harvard Business School. Richard worked as an investment banker before becoming an independent financial advisor, investor, founder, and manager of a number of companies that are heavily dependent on large-scale, highly secure and reliable technical systems.
In 1990, Richard founded Community Options, Inc., a management company that develops day programs and residential facilities in Connecticut, with James Kelly. Richard continues to serve as a board member for the company.
