I am pleased how Therap has built in many of the applications either prompts or error messages for staff to fill in required information. This means a form or document cannot be submitted or approved without meeting the required needs.  This is constantly evolving as many of the required fields are now being examined for audit compliance. I believe this will continue to evolve to force more information and less worry for compliance. However, none of this can be at the expense of provider flexibility and personal preference. During meetings with potential or current users I must continue to emphasize that the agency is still responsible for administering policies and supervising staff. Therap can make that job easier with reports and communication but it will never replace the human responsibility for management. So as we build a system to wash the dishes too, you will still have the responsibility of oversight and managing people in a way that is respectful and personal.
