I have reviewed the material from the Council and if you have followed their history they seem to always be a good resource.  You may want to review these guidelines to measure your own standards of support.

  • CQL, The Council on Quality and Leadership describes itself this way “Our work remains focused on organizations and helping them make real change. CQL engages organizations, people, their families and supporters in the development of resources and strategies that they can use to define and demand excellence in person-centered supports and services.” The Council has published a free Guide to Person-centered Excellence, organized by 8 key factors. CQL has posted additional information on the first of the factors, Person-centered Assessment and Discovery, and will post information on the factors over the coming months.
