More than 100 attendees made their way to Westampton, New Jersey for Therap’s annual state provider conference. The most pressing topic on everyone’s mind for this year’s conference is the state’s continued transition from contract to fee-for-service, and Therap’s regional team were on hand to help explain that process from a documentation and Medicaid service billing perspective. Laura Williams of the Arc of Ocean County presented on her agency’s experience thus far as a member of the pilot group and assistance from Therap in her agency’s successful claims processing.
In addition to the full billing sessions and fee-for-service discussions, we’ve had some great user discussions in sessions on the various modules including Care Plans, Med Admin Records, Health Tracking and Person Centered Planning. It’s been an informative day for the attendees present, as many have been sharing their agency’s experiences both in implementing the many modules and in their interaction with licensing reviews with the Department of Developmental Disabilities.
Quite a busy day in south Jersey, but attendees have been exchanging tips and contact info all day, and we’re very excited about tomorrow’s agenda and user presentations! More to come tomorrow, but a few pictures from our opening day:
