Learn about how Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities providers in New York are using Therap’s EHR to meet criteria for transitioning to conflict free care coordination set forth by the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), as the move from Medicaid service coordination to conflict-free care coordination organizations(CCOs) takes place,

Therap already provides its documentation software to over 90 agencies in New York. Therap stands ready to assist agencies in safely sharing of data with any CCO once this new environment is defined. Therap is currently meeting with many of the potential CCO organizations across the state in consideration of the data.

“For states like New York that are transitioning from Medicaid service coordination to care coordination, we know and understand how this works,” said Jeff Case, national Director of Business Development at Therap. “We have a robust documentation system that allows a HIPAA-compliant flow of information between providers and care coordinators. It enables real-time, transparent secure data sharing that allows everyone to be on the same page.”
